HAHAHA all you Europeans are saying "too bad you live in the US cuz you wont be able to come to the Jp meeting" Well, about 98% of the toys at your meeting came from the US! So I wont be going to Europe for the meeting! I'll be at the local garage sales here in the US buying Jp toys like gallimimus and Carnos for like a $1.00 each...lol

Actually, hotrod, those toys came from China. That's not a part of the USA, it's a country in South East Asia.

Roselaaar would you rather collect Papo or JP? Papo isnt that great in my opinion, Heck you Europeans are the only people who really collect papo!

I think that the meeting is a great idea. I am not seeing the point why hotrod55 is flaming it. The point of the meeting is too meet with other collectors/fans that share a common interest, get to know each other better and possibly do some trades and such. I don't see what is wrong with that.

You've been totally misinterpreting our "commenting", dude. 0thebigwytec5 is spot on, it's not about the figures themselves, it's about meeting fellow collectors. As for the term 'owned', Jack de la Mare introduced it in this thread, not me.
Anyway, the toys came from China, they were thought up by Americans, they were sold worldwide and are currently popular enough to host a JP meeting in the Netherlands. JP is global, its success is not something solely American.

I do not think he knows what it means either way. Let's stop this now, you're acting as if America rules everything.
Would be nice if one day we could all get together, that's the only problem about living overseas.

Would be nice if one day we could all get together, that's the only problem about living overseas. They solved that problem by making fan sites and message boards, so we can still sort of 'get together'. But when people live close to each other (or close enough), meeting in the flesh is fun too.
