My browser has trouble uploading these boards (and the Dinosaurtoyforum too). It will only load the banner, not the actual boards. Refreshing helps, but I have to do it constantly because the problem won't go away. Seems it only happens in MIE, not with Firefox (but I prefer MIE to Firefox). Anyone else experiencing these problems? Anything wrong with Proboards maybe?  |

I think it's probably Proboards as you said it's on two forums you're visiting. IE uses a different rendering engine which is slower than Firefox's, and it also has trouble sometimes with javascript and flash and the banners are usually flash meaning it'd take a while.

It's just not taking a while though, most times nothing happens at all. It simply says 'Finished' in the left bottom of the screen (but in Dutch), and shows a small warning icon too (yellow triangle with exclamation mark). Anyway, Firefox works, but I just prefer to use IE because I've always used it on my computer and I can't take change.  |

If I wasn't a Trekkie, I would ignore that. However, I am, so now I'm wondering whether you're right and I should ask a transfer to the USS Firefox...

Same problem here. And no, I'm not going to use FireFox. Besides, it only started doing this since a week or so.
