Here you go. Be nice. I'm going to see 10 Cloverfield Lane tomorrow morning, first showing. Can't wait, have no idea what to expect but I am excited for it! (And optimistic.)

Didn't know about that film (I'm quite outta the loop haha, so many superhero excretions turned me off of modern cinema I guess), but it looks promising, might go come saturday. Plus, I'll watch anything with Mary Elizabeth Winstead. So pretty!

Post reviews guys, it looks interesting. The film is best watched without knowing anything about it - rather than not to expect a Cloverfield 2. The actors do excellent jobs and Goodman specifically is terrific. You never really know what's truly going on. Abrahams called this a "blood relative", but it's not even a real spin-off. It truly stands on its own (there are two or three very mild references to the viral marketing for, and events of Cloverfield, but if you had no knowledge about those it would never stand out - and knowledge of the original film isn't necessary in order to watch this one). All I can say is, go and enjoy. It's pretty good.

So, would you suggest it to a Kaiju Fan who did not like the first Cloverfield?

So, would you suggest it to a Kaiju Fan who did not like the first Cloverfield? I've sent you a PM, trying to keep it spoiler free here. Hope my PM helps you decide if it's something you'd like to see in a cinema.

I was not emotionally prepared for the new Captain America trailer. It's pretty good, eh? Hope the movie is, too. 10 Cloverfield Lane is also pretty good. A whole different animal (pun intended? Who knows...) than its predecessor. Great suspense, strong acting and a constant feel of unease. It very much felt like a two hour episode of The Twilight Zone (including a twist or two), but without a man in suit talking us through it. Though fans of the first movie might expect to have seen otherwise, I would still recommend it to most people.

I was very worried it wouldn't have a good plot, but from what I hear it's worth seeing. I need to watch Cloverfield again. I haven't seen the movie since it first came out on DVD... -AC
