It's been a long time since the last time I've posted here, and I'm about to make a comeback...I think.
Anyway, is there any issue about reviving old threads in this forum? Or do I have to make a new thread even if the topic has already been discussed in the old one?
Thx.

You know, I've been curious about this myself - mainly because I can't seem to divine the line between where it's okay to revive a thread and where it's not okay to revive a thread (obvious incidences aside). Sometimes I see people getting told to leave the old threads alone (especially in Classifieds but that's totally understandable), but then sometimes I see people making new threads about old old old topics and being shot down over it with 'there's already a topic for this'.
Once or twice I've wanted to chat about something, there's been an old old thread and I've been so torn between making a new thread or reviving the old one that I just don't bother posting at all.

Well, basically, it's okay to revive an old thread if you have something new to add to the topic (don't just post "I agree", or stuff like that). But usually, if the thread is more than one or two years old, you can just create a new one.
