It was at Palma Aquarium in Spain. I paid 2x 20 euro for the others. Steep too imo...

Yeah, that's also a bit overpriced. But not nearly as excessive...

Yeah we have been hosting meetings in the Netherlands or Belgium for several years now. Usually in the summer. Usually like 4 or 5 people. If you would like you can go to the next, I'm sure we can arrange something with staying the night so you don't have to travel as much on one day. Always fun to meet fellow JP fans!

That would be awesome. The people here seem really nice. I've been to Den Haag once with friends. And I also have an acquaintance who lives near Amsterdam. Unfortunately he's not into the JPverse But hit me up anytime. I'm sure it'll be fun.

It's never too early to start planning our next European forum meeting! And what better place to gather than in a museum displaying one of the most complete Tyrannosaurus rex fossils excavated? t-rex.naturalis.nl/default.aspxNicknamed "Trix", the Tyrannosaurus will be on display until the end of May 2017. Then she will go on a tour through Europe, returning in 2018 when the museum is finished. On weekdays the museum is open from 10.00 till 17.00. During weekends it's open till 18.00. I assume we all prefer a weekend to meet up? Tickets have to be purchased online beforehand, as there are strict time slots. A normal ticket is 13,50 euro. There are discount tickets as well, depending if you have a CJP pass or (national) Museum Card. Important detail: the rest of the museum is closed, the Tyrannosaurus exhibition is the only part of the museum that is open. If anyone's up for a meeting and a visit to the Tyrannosaurus, please let me know, we can start planning a date and I can purchase the correct tickets when we know who's coming and who might have discount passes.

I'm game, though it really sucks the rest of the museum is closed (knew that already, my father has a hard time continuing his research because of it). 13.50 bucks just for a T-Rex is a bit steep...

I loved it lol, very impressive skeleton! "Aren't they lovely, aren't they glorious!?" I think the exhibition was done well enough - though I was surprised they put Deinonychus without feathers on display. Even the Natural History Museum in London has two animatronics dressed up (badly) in feathers/ down. Of course, everyone comes to see the Tyrannosaurus and she does not disappoint! Well worth the wait and donation.

I wish one day I could come to the European meeting Or you could start your own. Though I reckon there's not that many active forum members in that part of the world.
