I also really enjoyed the show when we went a few years ago She did, and so did the rest of the gang who went with her. Here's some proof: Raptorx85 and Carcharodontosaurus having fun and buying dinosaurs. Neelis nearly gets eaten. And here's some of the dinosaurs: A good time was had by all. We really should do something like this again...

Seen it twice. It's worth it to anyone who is into dinosaurs. It filled the void for me when Jurassic World was nothing but a glint in Spielberg's eyes. I was even inspired to build a dinosaur costume with similar mechanics by this show.

I saw it in 2009. The museum I work at was sponsoring it so I got to see it twice. The first time, I was able to get front row seats. The second time, I was able to see it for free and stood next to the guys that remotely control the animatronics. The operators were awesome! During the Tyrannosaur part of the show, they let me control the T. rex! I actually got to be part of the show! That experience will be with me forever!

Really?! Dude, that's a once in a lifetime privilege! They sound like really cool people to let you participate. It's been said that these guys have the best job in the world. I agree with it.

I've seen it twice as well. It's worth the money (and effort) to see it. An impressive show.

They seemed to be enjoying themselves. I had talked with them before the show and they told me how everything works. To my surprise, when the rex came out, the guy operating it turned to me and asked if I wanted to give it a try. I was shocked. The operator showed me the basics. The control mechanism is somewhat similar to the ones used behind the scenes for JP. You held a controller that resembled the general body plan of a dinosaur. By swiveling the neck, you controlled the side-to-side movement of the head. You could extend the neck for a lunge. The tail section of the controller could bend causing the tail to swing. I made the rex lune at the host. The operator timed the lunge with a good growl and the audience was laughing. Though it was a short experience, I find it cool to say that I actually got to participate in the show. That will probably never happen again.

Years back, I did a tandem skydive and after the parachute had opened, the instructor gave me control over the handles and ropes for a moment, it was amazing being able to "fly" us! Back down on the ground, it turned out I had been the only one in our little group offered to steer their parachute.

Sounds like a great experience for you. Also, another cool thing is that the Juvenile rex came to our museum. I got to meet the person that has to wear the suit and they allowed me to take a peek inside. I have a picture of the rex taking a bite at me. Haha.

Hehe, I just hope the Zelda concert will end up being just as worthwhile ^^ But it's a good excuse as well to visit Dusseldorf during the day. Maybe another visit to the zoo

I went there too! I have a little plush Utahraptor keyring from the gift shop. My favourite part was the fight between the Tyrannosaurus and baby, Torosaurus and Euoplocephalus, or some sort of ankylosaur anyway.
