I have purchased the first two extended blu rays and plan to get BOTFA when it comes out (even though the films were vastly inferior to LOTR). Do any of you know if there will be an option to get the trilogy box only for the 3 films since I bought these individually instead of all together as a trilogy? I don't want to have to sell the other two extended blu rays on ebay just to buy the trilogy as a boxset. The LOTR extended blu ray trilogy had a nice box that held the three films and I want it to be consistent.
Thanks!

I'm quite sure there's gonna a box set. Though if you want it and you don't want doubles, you're not likely to find the box itself with only the third movie. That's not how the system works.
I'm hoping BotFA EE is an improvement over the rather feeble theatrical version. It did seem like an awful lot was cut out. Other than that, I'm liking the Hobbit movies (and definitely the huge load of extras), though naturally not as much as the LotR movies.

Sometimes studios will allow people to purchase the box only if they have purchased the three films individually at a low cost. I didn't know if there was an option like that for this release.
