What did you guys think of Rogue One?
I loved it, i it one of the top Star Wars movies for me. I loved the Darth Vader Scenes, heck i liked all the empire scenes the empire had. And how they left it off right till the start of A New Hope.

I really enjoyed it. It started a little slow but once you get past that it kicks into high gear. Well cast and acted, action sequences and the visual effects were second to none. That last third act was breathtaking, beautiful cinematography. I enjoyed Giacchino's soundtrack. I only had three gripes with it. No opening crawl, the Rogue One title font and the planet name titles weren't needed. Rogue One now sits tied with number 2 with RotJ under Empire for me.

I don't think I've cried so much in one movie before.

Finally remembered what Jedha reminds me of... Jedha: The foundations of the ancient fortified holy city of Masada in Israel: Been awhile since I read the article about it in National Geographic and it just suddenly came back to me.

I thought it was a good movie.. nothing groundbreaking or life changing but definitely a good flick with a good story.

Ah Masada, another holy city with a history of genocidal obliteration...

I really enjoyed the movie. I do have to admit when Vader came out at the end and finally showed just a sample of what he is capable of...I was giddy! I wanted to clap so bad, I finally saw Vader kick butt and take names.

Yeah that was a awesome scene that almost didn't happen.it originally it wasn't in the script they went back and added it to give it that little something extra. Man that was a powerful scene. Vader standing there in the dark and all u hear is the breathing and then the light saber powers on to show whats lurking in the dark.. it was at that moment they realized they just got screwed big time.

Loved that scene. It was a great demonstration of Vader's ultimate might. Looking back this movie had a lot of great moments. Some of my favorites were: The U-Wing landing at Yavin 4. The AT-ST rounding the street corner during the battle at Jedha City. The Star Destroyer slowly emerge from the darkness with the Death Star being revealed behind it. Enjoyed the exchange between Krennic and Tarkin that follows. The Rebel airstrike on the Eadu Outpost. Vader's Castle on Mustafar and the exchange between he and Krennic. The exchange between Mon Mothma and Bail Organa when she tells him to get word to his "Jedi friend". The Alliance scrambling to Fleet to Scarif after learning of Rebels there. "All flight personal please report to your commanders immediately. We have been re-directed to Scarif" Chirrut hearing the sound of heavy footsteps and the massive AT-ACT's emerging from the jungle. Loved the Rebel Fleet coming out of hyperspace at the Shield Gate and setting up for battle. Who else nearly jumped out of their seat when "This is Gold Leader standing by. This is Red Leader standing by" happened? The X-Wing pair taking out the AT-ACT in the nick of time. Leia receiving the plans and Tantive IV making the jump to hyperspace.

I thought it was just OK. I liked force awakens more, but looking back, it was cool. Here my favorite things: 1. The scarif battle 2. Chirrut imwe 3. Orson Krennic 4. At act 5. Darth Vader scene at end was cool 6. Death troopers 7. Saw Gerrera
Overall, in my opinion, Rogue one gets a 7 or 7.5 out of 10 because I did not like the ending where all of them die. I would have liked to seen more from these characters. Felt rushed and cliche. But I am still buying on blu ray
